Canopy Support Services, in partnership with Employment Planning and Counselling Peterborough (EPC), is thrilled to offer an exciting virtual reality experience for teens aged 14-17 with ASD. This innovative program allows job seekers to explore various occupations firsthand using a cutting-edge VR training platform. 🌟
Event Highlights:
Virtual Job Site: Teens will step into a virtual world where they can experience 31 different job opportunities. From construction to healthcare, the possibilities are endless! 🚀
Hands-On Experience: Each participant will have 30 minutes to immerse themselves in the VR career opportunities, gaining valuable insights into potential job paths. 👷♂️👩💼
Small Group Interaction: After their VR session, teens will have the chance to chat in a small group, sharing their experiences and learning from one another. 🤝
Limited Spots: To ensure a personalized experience, the group is limited to 6 participants. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity! 🎟️
Event Details:
Location: Canopy Support Services Main Office
Drop Off: Parents should drop off their teens at the front doors, where an Autism Services representative will meet them and guide them into the building. 🚗
Note: An OAP event is required for all in-person events.
