The purpose of this fund is to support all members of the Canopy Community by building upon our existing resources and expertise in our sector to provide equal access to opportunities that will empower our Supported Individuals and their families to grow, learn and improve their skills to enhance their quality of life.

Right now, your support is making a difference for:
Pantry Program
Help provide food, hygiene items, housewares, etc. for Supported Individuals who are experiencing food insecurity that is impacting our ability to provide service as well as provide individuals with the essentials to help support their every day life.
Crisis Backpack Initiative
Help support the Crisis Backpack Initiative that provides Supported Individuals access to essential items when encountering housing insecurity. This initiative works in tandem with our Pantry program to help support access to essential items.
Mental Health Supports
Helps individuals in need to access Specialized Mental Health supports that take into account both their mental health challenges and developmental disability diagnosis with our Mental Health Counsellor or Social Worker.
Ways to Donate
You can become a monthly donor, providing consistent support that helps us plan and sustain our programs. Corporate giving allows businesses to contribute through sponsorships, matching gifts, or direct donations, fostering community engagement and corporate social responsibility. Legacy giving enables you to leave a lasting legacy by including Canopy Cares in your estate plans. Tribute giving is a heartfelt way to honor or remember a loved one, while gifts in kind allow you to donate goods or services that directly benefit our initiatives. Lastly, you can host a third-party event, rallying your community to raise funds and awareness for our cause.
