Our Adult Urgent Response Program (AUR) provides support, resources, and advocacy for individuals and their support networks in urgent situations to prevent the further escalation of risk, mitigate any untenable risks, and address an unmet urgent need. Our Urgent Response Case Manager and Crisis Response Network Coordinator work collaboratively with community partner agencies as part of a multi-disciplinary team strategy to provide a temporary, short-term case management response.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for the AUR Program, individuals must be deemed eligible by Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) and be:
18 years or older
Have a developmental disability and mental health problem, and/or challenging behaviour
At risk of:
caregiver burnout
housing instability
support breakdown due to increased support needs
involvement with the criminal justice system
Currently living in Peterborough, City of Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, or Haliburton
